Virginie Lanfrey is Rendel’s Director of Transportation and a board director. She is a Chartered Engineer with 20 years’ of experience in managing and delivering infrastructure projects of all scales for state and local governments, as well as contractors. She is a Certified Practising Project Manager with the Australian Institute of Project Management and holds a Diploma of Project Management. Her broad base of experience covers studies, design, project planning, project management, preparation of contract documents and drawings, tender evaluation and site/construction supervision.

Virginie has held pivotal roles in several major projects, serving as the project manager for independent design checking on the Melbourne Metro Tunnel and on WestConnex 3a M4-M5 Link Tunnels. Additionally, she contributed as the project manager for an independent review on North East Link. Between 2015 to 2018, Virginie assumed the role of program manager for two road maintenance contracts in Sydney, which included projects such as the Northern Beaches Bus Rapid Transit Program (B-Line) and Old Windsor Road widening.
