Rendel Limited has hosted three university students for 12-month placements in Civil Engineering. Following the successful completion of their placements, we are now saying goodbye as they return to university to finish their studies. Here is what they had to share about their experience with the company:

“During my placement, I was fortunate to be exposed to a wide range of tasks and responsibilities, which contributed immensely to my personal and professional growth. The guidance and support provided by the team were invaluable, enabling me to stretch my existing knowledge and tackle new challenges with confidence. Collaborative teamworking, great people and fun social events made the time at Rendel more than just work. “I felt welcomed in Rendel from the moment I joined. My placement year has passed in a flash, and I am so grateful for the learning opportunities and experiences I had during my time here. I was given time to find my feet before gradually increasing my workload over the year. “My placement at Rendel has been an excellent experience. I felt welcomed in my team from day one, and working with them on different projects helped me to develop my skills and abilities. My time in Rendel has given me a hands-on experience with road design, allowing me to improve my knowledge beyond the level I had reached at university. The company’s Sport and Social Club hosted various activities that were not only great fun to attend, but also helped to establish relationships with people in my team and the wider company.”– Finlay Hughes
