Rendel was appointed by Eurotunnel to carry out a detailed design and construction supervision for a temporary junction between M20 and A20. The junction will provide a new option to reject vehicles from the Shuttle to prevent major disruptions after Brexit.

Rendel’s services included:

  • Concept and detailed design for the new temporary junction
  • Survey of the area, including topography and utilities in the verges along A20
  • Preparation of specification, BOQ and cost estimate

  • Construction supervision
